Problems syncing KeePassBB 2.0.1506.0 with KeePass 2.12

Hi,

It sounds from another thread like this may just be a versioning issue in the DB again, but I'm getting "unable to decrypt local database" errors when I try to sync. I've confirmed that the credentials are correct and work on both ends, and I wasn't having any problems with sync before I did a reinstall of everything on the desktop side (and upgraded KeePass as part of that).

Are the databases already in sync? If so, I'd do a "Save As" on the device to back up the current database to your SDCard, then do a "Delete internal DB". This will clear out the device internal memory so when you sync the next time, you should get a clean copy of the desktop database. Syncs from then on should be ok.

I just tried manually syncing the databases, clearing out the internal DB, and syncing a new version across. The initial synchronization worked fine, but now I get "The database must be from KeePass version 2.08 or 2.09" when I attempt to open the DB on the phone. Syncs fail with "Unable to decrypt device database with supplied credentials".

If the error message on the device is "The database must be from KeePass version 2.08 or 2.09" then you're running a version earlier than 1506. In 1506, the message changed to "The database must be from KeePass version 2.09 - 2.11". You should double check that the latest version of KeePassBB is installed.

Great, that fixed it. Is it possible to have the sync tool prompt if it sees a version mismatch between what's installed on the desktop side and what's installed on the phone? I should have checked versions manually, but it didn't occur to me that they'd end up out of sync.
